Today I was having a discussion with a friend about art. She was telling about a guy named Duchamp...he has a some pieces that he called "Readymades". In particular we talked about Prelude to a Broken Arm, it's a snow shovel...that's it just a snow shovel. I am someone who can truly appreciate the mundane as art, but I think putting a shovel in a museum and calling it art is kind of phoning it in.
